The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is this Sat. May 10, 2008
It is easy to help:
1. Put some non-persishable food items in a bag and place it by your mailbox.
2. Your letter carrier will pick it up and deliver to local food banks.
The National Association of Letter Carriers, in conjunction with the United States Postal Service, will be collecting non-perishable food items like canned meats and fish, canned soup, juice, pasta, vegetables, cereal and rice on Saturday, May 10th to help families in need in our community. You can help by placing your food donation at your mailbox before your letter carrier arrives. It will be taken to the Post Office and then delivered to local food banks or pantries. Please do not include items that have been expired or those in glass containers. Thank you for caring. |
