Post subject: Disc Golf in Warren Parks

I have asked Warren Parks & Rec. and have been told it's been considered, but I wonder what others think about adding a disc golf Course to a Warren park, or even parks? I think it a great idea, fun for the whole family and a reasonable cost to establish (under 5k for 9 hole or under 10k for an 18 hole course, see innovadisc.com). Any way, just curious on other Warren residents thoughts about this... Thanks!

Post subject: If we had the money it would be awesome!!

Hello
I heard it will cost $5,000 to build one plus up keep
and the on going cost of paying someone to maintain it.

I really do think it would be a nice thing to have if Warren had the money but I doubt they do after hearing all the disapointing news about the pool there for a while.

With the pool every age could enjoy it from babies to senior citizens. It it a nice idea but I think the money could be used in better places.

Post subject: Disc Golf in Warrne Parks

I think it a wonderful idea. Royal Oak and Troy have them, why not Warren (one of the largest cities in Michigan). Five to ten thousand dollars per park isn't much for the city to spend. Besides usually the parks that have them seem to be well maintain by the players.

I haven't played in some time. It would be nice to be able to dust off those disc and walk over to the closest park to play.

Good idea!
